I have previously said that due to the reunion not selling like I intended, I would eventually have to cap the reunion. At this time I am limiting/ capping the reunion at 26 people. I have gotten the go ahead from the hotel to book rooms for those 19 & over. There is a little more paper work that needs to be done on your (& your parents) part to waive any liability from the hotel. So for anyone who's been holding back due to this, there is no issue any longer. Feel free to register for the reunion & you can book either the hotel yourself or select roommate option.

Minimum age for the Hotel

I just got word that you MUST be over 21 to check into the hotel. If you are under 21 but going with someone over 21 you are OK, but if you are under 21 & alone you wont be able to check into the hotel. Please note this when registering for the reunion. At this time the ONLY hotel that accept 19 & up is the Best Western.

I was also notified that the new rate for the Wingate is $69 a night for the 1st 2 people & $10 additional a night per person over 2.

There are 2 options, are you international (outside of the US) or are you inside the United States, choose which one & then your size, then place your order via PayPal. There is a 2 week turn around time for your shirts to be shipped out at this time as I am placing the 1st big order with these sales.

So guys I have placed the 1st order of OTHS9 shirts which I will take to Wilmy this coming week & have some autographed & they will be auctioned off, some will be kept for future contests & the other 10 will be actually given to the cast/crew of OTH as a thank you gift to them from us. At the moment I have 10 going, when I go back sometime in September, I will take a couple more, or take a whole bunch to give out during the reunion.

The Hilton update

I just got an update from the Hilton & I have been notified that they will only be able to give me about 2-3 rooms at the discounted rate after the reunion.

Guys I am sorry but the Hilton is NOT working with me like I have had in previous experience. Therefore, the Hilton is OUT. I will work with the Wingate & the Best Western. I know this isnt what you all wanted to hear, but this is a business decision & I need to think what is best for my guests. You are more than welcome to say at the Hilton on your own, but I will NOT have group rates for that weekend, it will be regular price.

So with that said, our official hotels will be the Wingate & the Best Western, which is next door to the Hilton. Thanks.

UPDATE: ANNOUNCEMENT MISSED FROM LAST NIGHT'S NEWSLETTER:

I did miss a small detail about the dates last night. I am seeing the results from the polls & I dont think I am surprised at the results, but I did forget to mention a little something in reference to the Nov 3rd- 5th stay. The 3rd is a Thursday, & there is a HIGH chance that there will be filming that day & could run all the way through late in the evening. With that said, the reunion check in & orientation will be that Thursday, late afternoon & will be mandatory. Id like to make clear that even if there is filming that day, you will need to be at the check in & orientation, if you do not show up then you will not be able to participate in the reunions event & will NOT get a refund.Now dont worry, if filming goes on til later that evening, once the orientation is over we will all gather together & head back to filming & watch it til it ends, but this will be on your own- there will NOT be transportation there & back, though you can always ask car pool with someone who may have a car.The reason I am bringing this up is b/c the 1st time I planned a reunion 2 yrs ago, the original dates started on a Thursday & they were filming the Leyton wedding reception at Tric & b/c I had canceled the reunion, another group of ladies tried to do a group dinner that same evening & NO ONE showed up, so this is the reason why I am bringing this up. For those that didnt sign up til this morning, here is a copy of last nights Newsletter. Hey Everyone!I am happy to see so many of you interested in this years reunion. It is unfortunate that it will be its last with One Tree Hill coming to a close May of next year, it will be a sad day for all of us, specially for those that watched the show since day 1. Though I havent been watching since day 1, I started watching during the winter hiatus of S4, caught S1, 2 & 3 on DVD in a matter of 6 days. The rest is history!So I am very happy to be hosting this last reunion in Wilmington, North Carolina. I have finally obtained the filming information I was waiting for to be able to plan this reunion correctly. Though the dates aren't confirmed I have put together 3 different possible times that we can go. I am also posting below 2 polls in regards to the hotel's & the dates, Id like to see what everyone is thinking.Now, the dates I am considering is October 30-Nov 1/ Nov 3rd- 5th or Nov 6th- 8th. I believe that the Nov 6th date may be cutting it very close. Now, the 2 hotel's I am considering is The Hilton or the Wingate by Wyndham. The Wingate is actually IN Wilmington, about 4 miles from downtown but is around everything, Walmart, Target, & a ton of different restaurants.Both hotels have their pros & cons, which I will list here so it can help you decide on the poll below. The Hilton as we know is One Tree Hill's most popular hotel & one of its pro's is that it is in Downtown Wilmington, where a lot of the action takes place, the rate for the weekend of October 30th is $89 (city view) a night for double occupancy ($10 more per person, max 4 people), but it doesnt include breakfast, it would also be another $10 a night for river view rooms, but sounds convenient for Halloween night. The rate for the weekend after would be $119 a night. As previously stated the Wingate is on Market street about 4 miles down the road, they have given me an approx nightly rate of $79- $84 a night, which includes daily hot breakfast, with free wifi & an inside pool, along with being close to various restaurants in the Wilmington area.The reunion prices are still being determined, but will be about $75-$90 per person, for everything included in this price make sure you read the FAQ's. This price DOES NOT include the hotel stay, but for those looking to split the costs with someone else, I will have room mates registration available, you will be able to register for the reunion & pay your part of the hotel through the reunion instead of the hotel directly.Finally- I do work with people when it comes to paying for the reunion & I do split payments, you pay a minimum at registration & then you'd have til the day of the deadline (which will be determined later) to pay the rest. This is to help people with their finances & have a better chance to be part of this event. Remember this WILL be the LAST One Tree Hill fan reunion held in Wilmington, I will try my hardest to accommodate everyone so they can come & enjoy Wilmington with all of us.Stay tuned I will have another newsletter out shortly, with final reunion prices, when early registration starts & how you can get your discount for registering early. Reunion Registration Cap/ Registration Opening Date

The latest update on the reunion is in... I am happy to see the amount of interest for the final reunion, & really hope its a success.

When I was planning the very first reunion, I was hoping for about 60-75 people but ended up with 32 people, though it felt like a small group, it was my BEST group, with amazing people in it. Though we were only 32, it was a lot of work & I kinda thanked God that there wasnt many more people, I knew it was going to be a lot of work. With that said, I MUST put a cap to this last final reunion, & my cap is 53 people.

The tour bus can ONLY fit 55 people, & therefore just in case we only have 65 people, & not enough for another tour bus & things come out more expensive, I will have to put this cap/ limitation on the reunion.

So when registration begins, make sure to register early, plus take advantage of some specials I will have for the 1st 3 days of registration, which will open July 31st!

Confusion on Under 21.

This is just to clear something up- if you are OVER 18 but UNDER 21, you ARE allowed to go to the reunion & attend the activities, BUT- you must find your own hotel room & have transportation to & from the hotels. There will be a way to register as someone under the age of 21.

For you to stay at one of the hotel's someone at your party MUST be 21 & over, they will be the person doing the check in.

If you are underage (underage in the USA is considered under 18)- you are allowed to be part of the reunion as well, but your parent has to check you in & sign the paper work. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Hi Guys, I am still waiting on a confirmation email from my OTH contact on filming, as soon as I have the info I will announce the date of the reunion. I am also working on hotels in & around Wilmington... all I can say is that I DO NOT promise a downtown hotel this time.

This time though the shirts being sold outside of the reunion will not have the reunion's logo on the front, I may just put on the front chest One Tree Hill & under it- 2003-2012. 50% of the proceeds will benefit Sophia, Austin & BJG's charities & at the same time have a souvenir of the amazing show we all love more than anything.

I hope to have your support, I will also try to have some shirts autographed now when I go in July & those will be auctioned off or given away in contests!

Hi Guys. I just posted a poll on your left asking about the hotel for the reunion. So please make sure to vote if you think you are considering going.

The reason for this consideration is b/c ONE- I am not renting at the Hilton, b/c my contact is no longer there I am dealing with another person & they have not been helpful. Next is the best Western, I got some really good rates there BUT, I have been made aware that their rooms a a little small especially for 4 people, so I am not sure what I want to do.

Because its the fall/winter, my opinion is that downtown isnt much a big deal when it comes to the cast being at the Hilton or in downtown, so I am considering 2 different hotels right on Market street, so I wanted to know how you guys feel about maybe staying at a Market St hotel. So please take the poll because I am listening.

2011 OTH Fall Reunion Update

Hey guys, I am working on getting some info from my OTH contacts so I can determine about the right time to do the reunion. At this time we are def looking into sometime mid November or the 1st week of December. I was notified that the week of Thanksgiving, they are officially gone, but are back the Monday after, November 28th. I have gotten prices for that week, but looks like not many people want to head out that week, so I will keep everyone updated.

I will be adding a mailing list to the site very soon, along with opening up a reunion Twitter, that will be dedicated to the reunion ONLY. I will be working on updating the FAQ as well. Make sure to add yourself as a follower to the blog as well as join the facebook group (Ill add the link shortly)

2011 OTH Final Fan Reunion

It is official, I will go ahead & do another reunion. The information will be available sometime next month, but I am looking into going sometime either in November or December, more or less the 2nd to last week of final filming (When they are expected to wrap it up for Season 9). I have called both the Hilton & Best Western & am working on getting our group rates.

I will make all final announcements next month & open registration in August.

So if you are interested in going, start saving & start making your plans, as it has been announced this IS the FINAL season of One Tree Hill & I know MANY of you want to go & meet the cast & other fans but some may not want to do it alone or dont know where to start, so hopefully you will join us & we will have an amazing time! Private Tour is CANCELED!!!

I am sure many of you are starting to hear about the news... One Tree Hill is going to the islands of Puerto Rico for their last week of filming, which is March 14-18th, which falls right on the day that we are all going to the private tour. Because of this news, I have decided NOT to go to Wilmington & therefore, cancel the private tour as well... for all those that have paid, I will refund you the $$ this week. Please give me some time, as I have about 30 refunds to do, so I should be done by Friday.

Thanks to all those who were interested. I know it was going to be worth it but now... blah! No one will be there :(

Hello to all... like I predicted, we were going to have cancellations, I have had a couple of them already, but as I stated refunds wont be returned unless I have replacements & I have more than the 17 people to cover all costs.

One thing I must make clear is that my contract with the studio also states how many people are expected & I can not have more or less than 10 of that #... I am expecting to tell the studio 5 more than what I have now paid & ready to go so just in case I have those last minute people who want to be added can go.

Therefore, at the present moment I do have about 4-5 spaces open for replacements, this doesnt include my stand by-ers, b/c they have been put on the list for "just in case" they make it to Wilmington.

ALSO: Yes, I am thinking of doing the shirts for those interested, each shirt will be $13 (XS-L), $14.50 XL, $16 2XL & above. Wilmington in March Update 2

Hi Guys- Just sending out an update on the latest along with deadlines...

We have a little more than 6 weeks to go for Wilmy, Yay! With that said, I need to remind everyone who is going but has not bought a ticket yet that we ONLY have 15 more days to secure your place on the private studio tour, the tour is NOT sold out & it wont be until I reach 50 people. We are at a little over 20 right now.

Also for anyone staying at the Hilton, we still have 4 rooms left at the $84 price, & those need to be booked before the end of Februrary or they will be thrown back into inventory for a public sale & then I can NOT guarantee the rate after that!

I am also considering shirts... Not sure if anyone will be interested, but just an idea- I MAY sell to the general public, depending on how people want... I just have to have a minimum of 25 shirts!

Studio Tour Update

Thanks to everyone emailing me, interested in joining us on the studio tour. So here's the update:

This coming week I will call the studio & get our dates put in & get the contract sent over so I can have it ready to be sent in by February 14th.
Starting Friday I will start accepting admission fee/deposit from those interested in going. Here are your 2 options: Send me a check for $12 per person or make a PayPal payment of $13 (to cover the paypal fees)
All payments MUST be turned in by no later than February 13th. I need to give the studio a final # on the contract. Once I reach 5 extra people than what I out on the contract then we are officially sold out! So make sure you make your plans on time.
REFUNDS: If you need to cancel for any reason & need a refund, I will refund you the money minus Paypal fees ONLY if we have more than the 17 ppl. If we do not have the 17 people then I will not refund the money.
The tour will be planned for the morning, btwn 9am- 11am. So you can arrange your plans accordingly.

Private Studio Tour in March

So I was thinking, I am not sure how many people are actually going that weekend with us, but I was thinking of doing a private studio tour on that Tuesday or Wednesday, but here's the thing- it will cost the group at least $200 (the group, not each person)- meaning for it to be worth it, we need to be at least 17 ppl. Here's how it works-

The deposit/fee is $200. I must sign a contract at least ONE month before the event. We must get about 17 people to put in $12 each which is the admission price into the studio anyhow, if we have more than thats fine, each additional person pays $12, but if we have less than 17 then we have to pay the difference til we reach $200... so- the question is who wants to do this?

I am starting to plan NOW- 1 month before so I can get an idea of who's going & start asking for people to send their money so I can send in the deposit by no later than February 15th.

If you think or know you are going to Wilmington that week of March 13th til the 20th & want to participate, send me an email & I will give you instructions.

If by the end of the month we dont have enough people & its too much of a difference then I will return your check when I see you in Wilmington that week.

Lets make this happen... remember the advantage of going to a private tour during the week... theres filming on set so we may catch a glimpse of Sophia, James, Austin, Bethany or even little Jackson, like we did last time. So let me know!

Wilmington in March Update 1

So it looks like the previous post has gotten alot of traffic, just waiting to see how many will truly meet with us there...

Finale update- many are saying that going the 15th-20th is cutting it close, I am considering going a little earlier, I am not sure.. but its something to consider...

Please keep in mind... Wilmington is kinda expensive during that time of year, so I am trying to figure out the right dates, I know Hilton told me that they have better rates after the 14th... so lets see, if anyone has ideas or anything, keep me posted.

As of right now I am considering driving into Raleigh & then renting a car & taking the drive to Wilmy, I am saving about $120 per person, if this is something you want to consider with me then we can split the car rental... Just an idea. We still have time to plan.

Wilmington in March

I have recently been saying that I will be going to Wilmington in March, I was told by a OTH source that they wrap up filming in mid March... I have heard around that sometimes they end early, but I am going to take my chances & Ill be heading down that way anytime btwn March 14th/15th til the 21st or so... I know many people want to meet up & all & maybe we can do a small reunion but nothing organized, just maybe stay at the Hilton.. I have gotten in contact with my Hilton contact & she is ready to give me prices, once I have that info I will pass it along.

My ONLY other idea would be if you want we can all get shirts... once again we come up with a quote & on the front just write One Tree Hill & March 2011 season 8 or something...

What they have a hard time figuring, though, is how much our area benefits in prestige and tourism dollars.
But when those number-crunchers sit down at the end of this year, they can at least estimate the amount of money the two One Tree Hill Fan Reunions contributed to the 2010 budget.
Organizer Christy-Anne Arancibia said she guesses each person on her tour spends about $600 during their three to five days here.
"That's lodging, food. When me and my husband came down here we also did things like the Henrietta, the horse and buggy and the studio tour," she said.

I have been getting alot of emails asking what is the reunion & what it entails & so forth. I always send them to the blog to read the posts & get information. I would assume if you're emailing me its b/c you were here first.

I dont mean to be rude or offend anyone, but about 90% of people come to the blog or website & don't read whats on here, they prefer to just email & ask questions. This is the reason why we create a website of this magnitude, so we can rely the information to the world at one time. So PLEASE- read this before you ask questions, b/c eventually it gets old to keep telling people the same thing over & over again, when all the information is laid out right here for you.

-The reunion is a multi- day event, held in Wilmington, North Carolina with a group of One Tree Hill fans. We do different activities & meet new people & find new friends. Two women I met at the reunion are now one of my best friends.

- We visit the filming locations around Wilmington as a group & I coordinate a private studio tour for the weekday (when actors are working, so we usually have a slight chance of running into them while doing the tour- we ran into Jackson during the 1st reunion & got a cute wave from him!)

- I also guarantee a group rate with the Hilton Riverside in Downtown Wilmington, which for this coming reunion is $84 a night (compared to their website of $229 a night).

Hilton's Inventory during Reunion

I just spoke to my coordinator at the Hilton & she made me aware that the Hilton ONLY has 16 rooms available for the weekend & is projected to sell out by sometime next week.

If you are looking into the reunion & staying at the Hilton at our group rate of $84 a night, you need to register ASAP so I can send you the information on how to register.

The Hilton has reserved 4 additional rooms for me at the River View Suites just in case, but those rooms are $94 a night.

Remember there are ONLY 5 days left to register for the reunion. I will register upto 8 more people until July 17th. But be aware you will not be able to choose your shirt size. I need to give a final # to the studio (not surpassing 10 ppl) & the hotel said that as long as there is inventory she will book for me, but she doesnt think these rooms will last much longer.

About My Price Change Tweet

I tweeted a little while ago that if I dont have a minimum of 20 people registered for the reunion that prices will have to change. Unfortunately this is true. This happen to the last reunion & it more than likely will happen here. This is why:

When I did the calculations for the reunion, I divided everything by 45 ppl, so everything is priced correctly if we had that many, unfortunately we dont have anything as close. So prices will have to go up for the transportation along with orientation/movie night rentals. Though I was able to change something for transportation, its a little cheaper but still needs to add up.

The private tour asks for a $200 deposit. This deposit is also the minimum price of the private tour, so I either pay $200, or have more people than $200 divided by $12 or $10 per person (which the math is about 17 or 18 people) & pay the difference for the entrance fee. Get me?

So all this must be taken into consideration, at the end of the day, the price will only change for about $6-$12 per person.

This is also stated in the Terms & Conditions that prices are subject to change. Hope this explains a little more whats going on.

Oil Spill Concern & the reunion

I have gotten a couple emails with people concerned about the oil hitting North Carolina. From all the news coverage I am looking at the oil will not get to North Carolina anytime soon & we hope it never gets there.

The oil just got to the panhandle of Florida & hasnt gotten around down to the Keys, so there is no worry about the reunion being affected due to the oil spill. We will be swimming in clean water.

So please dont allow this to keep you from coming to the reunion.

Final Reunion

For those that have been paying attention within the last couple of weeks, know that I have been waiting for a phone call for a HUGE job opportunity. The process has taken about 3-4 weeks & I finally got my call back today.

I am not comfortable in saying where I will be employed at this time but it is a HUGE world wide company, & in time I will announce it. Because this is a big time company & I need to dedicate my time to them at this time & at least for the next 6 months I have decided not to do any other reunions. If I do do anymore, I will have one final one for February/ March 2011, to be there for the last week of filming of season 8 (& most likely the series finale of OTH).

As for now, there will NOT be anymore reunions. I will announce in November if I will go ahead with the 3rd & FINAL reunion.

So please dont miss out if this is the last one, if you want to come, take advantage of this package deal. Remember if you are alone, I do offer roommate option, so you can at least split the hotel expense. Don't let that keep you from coming alone!

Remember Thursday is the last day to register at regular price.. $115 ($5 was added due to change of vendors for a certain event). The FINAL day to register is July 7th (I have extended it one extra day for now- will decide if I extend any longer). I am also trying to decide if I am going to make the limit of ppl for the reunion down to 25, but it depends on how many ppl register this week.

I have looked into a couple things & decided NOT to cancel the reunion whatsoever. I will make a couple changes to our transportation but will NOT cancel it.

I called my OTH contact today & was told they will give me an answer next week, that the meet & greet will more than likely happen, but they cant give me much info at this time. I am waiting on a more definite answer next week.

Update on This Summer's Reunion & Reunion #3

I have been hearing that many people dont want to register or are waiting to register until they hear about a meet & greet, here's the latest:

I have NOT heard back from my contact & this is what I am thinking, b/c the meet & greet is going to be a "favor" & done through donated time, my contact may not know when & who will be available during that time. I have stated time & time again NOT to depend on the reunion as a meet & greet, that is considered a special event & a special bonus that we will get during the days we are there. Seems like I will NOT know anything until the last weeks & by then, the registration will be closed, I will NOT accept anyone any longer, I dont care how much you beg.

Now here's my take: I am waiting until June 20th to make any final decisions, if there isnt a good amount of people registered, the reunion limit will drop down to 50 people. If I do get a meet & greet this time around, I know I will get one again on the next reunion I do, but if I DO NOT sell out the reunion this time with my meet & greet, I will NOT do another reunion in the end of October.

I am almost sure that I will get the information on the meet & greet at the last minute, so make sure you dont lose out. Remember the meet & greet is the icing to the cake for the reunion.

FAQ: What time will we be finished Tuesday?

A question I am getting alot about is about Tuesday's itinerary & what time we should be finishing?

Tuesday, for those that are ready to go home will be check out day & then the studio tour. At this time I am not sure if I will be doing one or two tours (depends if I have more than 40 people or not). If I have 2 tours, then my 2nd tour will end at about 12:30PM... I will do one tour at 10:30AM & then another at 11/11:30AM.

So this can be used for any flight planning you are needing to do. Thought I would post on this due to all the questions I am getting about it. Thanks.

Price: $110 USD per person. This includes but is not limited to: Reunion shirt, welcome packet/gift bag, various vendor rentals, dinner, lunch & studio tour, admin fees, registration fees & giveaways.
Hotel: Our host hotel is the Hilton, which is $84 a night for double occupancy & $94 for triple/quad occupancy, we are also offering the River View suites, which are apartment like rooms that can hold up to 4 people & is $94 per person. Hilton is a 21 & over at check in hotel, if you are under 21 but over 18, you can stay at the Best Western for $139 a night. Instructions on how to reserve your hotel will be given once you are registered.

I am working on the hotel's group website. It will be ready & available on Monday. During the registration process if you register as an ON SITE registrant, you will be asked what hotel you are looking into staying at. You will let me know if its Best Western, the Hilton or the Riverview Suites & as soon as your registration is approved, you will receive an email with information on how to make your reservation along with the group code needed to make the reservations.

If you register as OFF SITE, this means you have your own arrangements. If you register as a roommate (Couple/Singleton), you will not be asked for any hotel preference, you will automatically be reserved at the Hilton (remember you MUST be over 21 to stay at the Hilton).

Reunion hotel rates are ONLY available to those attending the reunion. Summer Reunion, Here we come!!!

So for those that havent heard yet, season 8 has been announced & therefore the reunion is a go. At this time I am still trying to get all the final details ready to go. Registration will open on Monday to those that fill out the contact form by no later than tomorrow at 6PM. After that the registration will open to the public on Friday, May 28th.

At this time the meet & greet are in the talks, nothing will be finalized for at least another 2 weeks. Please do not assume the reunion is a meet & greet ONLY, it is an event for One Tree Hill fans over a 4 day period in Wilmington, NC. The meet & greet is just the topping to your sundae on this trip. If the meet & greet does happen, the prices may change due to fees I will incur, I am considering a VIP package if this happens & hope everyone can take part.

A One Tree Hill fan & Wilmington resident has come up with a brilliant idea, she is trying to gather a group of One Tree Hill fans together at the river court this weekend, here’s what she had to say:

Next Saturday, May 8th, at 2:00 p.m. OTH fans will be gathering together at the River court in Wilmington to show their support for the show. The whole point of the rally is to take a picture of everyone that shows up and to send it to the CW Network in addition to meeting fellow OTH fans and having fun. Your support will be greatly appreciated!

So if you are in Wilmington make sure to please go out there & rally for the show & your city, remember all the amazing things that One Tree Hill brings to the City of Wilmington.

UPDATE:

I am happy to announce that I will be in Wilmington for the rally next week. I have been working on all these different campaigns over the last couple of months & this is one rally & campaign I want to be at, so I will be arriving in Wilmington on Wednesday, early afternoon & will be on my way back Saturday evening after the rally has ended.

Reunion Itinerary: The George

Alot of people have asked & suggested for us to go have our group dinner at The George, where Naley had the 1st date dinner in S1. I have looked into booking the group dinner there & got bad news- the rental fee is a little too high for the budget.

So I would like to let everyone know that unfortunately The George is out. Sorry!

New Hotel Addition

Due to alot of people being under 21, I am working with the Best Western for a group rate. The Best Western at the moment will only separate 5 rooms for me, their rates are a little more expensive, but they are still in downtown & right next door to the Hilton. You must be 19 & over to rent there, the rates for now are as follows: $139 for Saturday & $109 for all other days.

I will let everyone know when the contract for them is signed as well. I will also keep an eye out to see if the rates dont change & become cheaper b/c if thats the case I will request for her to lower the group rates!

Also-I didnt want to mention anything but I thought it would interest more people... I dont make any promises for now, but I'm working on it... I MAY get a meet & greet. If you are interested in the summer reunion, the 1st thing I need is for you to fill out the contact form a couple posts below. The reunion is set for July 24th to the 27th, it is spread over a couple extra days this time to give us time to do more. When I did the reunion in January, the registration opened 4 months before the event, this time it will be opening about 8-9 weeks, so there isnt alot of time to register.

If you are serious about the reunion & know you want to go, please start making the appropriate financial arrangements now. I will have the contract for the hotel signed right away so you will be able to call the hotel ASAP & reserve your hotel. Registration will open within a couple of days from the announcement of a season 8.

Please be aware that things will be on a very tight schedule in reference to registration dates, payments, deadlines & all that.

This post is meant to make everyone aware of what to expect & if you want to go to be ready, July is right around the corner!

PS- Like always I do NOT guarantee cast meets. As of now I do NOT have any arrangements with the cast for a meet & greet, ONLY time we will meet them if we do, will be when doing the location tour.

I have decided to post a couple things about the summer reunion since many people are asking & seem to be interested.

PLEASE BE AWARE OF ANY COPYCAT REUNIONS, IF YOU FIND SOMEONE OFFERING A REUNION PLEASE LET ME KNOW. THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE FOR THE ONE TREE HILL FAN REUNION. THIS IS FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY & TO AVOID ANY SCAMS.

There will ONLY be a reunion if there is a season 8 (Why?, B/c people want to see filming, either on set or on location)
Date as of right now is set for July 24th til the 27th.
This reunion will be over a 3-4 day period.
There WILL be a limit of 53 people for the reunion. (unless I am able to get a meet & greet, I MAY put the cap at 100)
Roommates will be available again.
Prices will be btwn $80- $100 with everything included this time, before it was a little less & you would have to pay registration fees, maintenance fees & the studio tour.
There will not be a contest for an assistant, I already have decided on one & she knows who she is. So thank you to anyone interested.
UPDATE: The Hilton is offering $84 a night for the weekends I have posted on the poll, all other weekends are fairly high or not available due to other groups.

I havent written in a while but that is because most of you know I am hard at work trying to save the show with the postcard campaign.

From the looks of it things are still up in the air. I dont want to plan anything until we know for sure what is going to happen. But from the looks of it I will ONLY be planning a reunion if we DO have a season 8.

The date still stands- July 25th-29th, 2010. As soon as the season is announced give me a couple of days to get all the prices & everything together & I will open the registration site & get everything going so it's planned on time. So if you are interested in going make sure that you know the dates are set for the last week of July. I am still considering a Saturday arrival... but its not for sure.

As you all know the summer reunion MAY NOT happen unless we get a season 8. For those that dont know a young man from Australia started a petition to get us another season of the show.

If by any chance you havent heard yet from all the other sites, the petition is doing awesome, as of yesterday alone we got over 3,000 signatures. We have a total over 4,300 signatures as of this morning. Please make sure to head over there & sign the petition & spread the word. Lucas (creator of the petition) is looking for 10K, but I am sure we can do 25K signatures.

Thanks & lets cross fingers that The CW & Warner Brothers pick up the show AGAIN!

I would like to remind everyone that this reunion is being planned by a private party- someone who isn't related to the show whatsoever.

With that said- I'd like to let everyone know that I DO NOT guarantee/promise ANY meet & greets or meeting with anyone. With our filming tour we MAY run into filming & who knows if anyone will come over & say hello to us, but as per my part, Id like to make clear that we will NOT meet anyone, I don't want anyone to think that I am promising any type of meeting.

I got that question A LOT last time & I thought I would make clear of that at the beginning this time. Thank you!

**I have tried to coordinate a meet & greet but unfortunately it is very costly & the way things are going we would NEVER have enough to get ONE actor to come & see us for 1-2 hrs.

Here's a little hint... I wont name names... but when I went after a meet & greet- one actor's management told me their actor would cost $5K for 2 hrs, plus airfare, hotel stay, & the duplication of pictures for autographs. Thought Id put that little, small info out there!

Reunion Dates, why Sunday to Tuesday?

I thought I would explain why I chose that weekend.

First of all it is my birthday that weekend & I wanted to be in Wilmington around that time, especially to see winter in another state. ( I live in Florida & don't see winter- its ALWAYS hot here)- when I realized my birthday fell on a long weekend I thought it would be perfect, that way people are able to take that Monday off from work or school.

Those that didnt notice & live in the states; it is MLK's Birthday. I also thought about Presidents day in February, but then I thought about the activities we are going to do & if there was an episode during that week? Would there be filming at that time & I wasnt sure.

I went back to different websites & saw that for the last 2 years there has been a NEW episode during that week & they HAVE been filming around that time & that NO they wouldn't be on the holiday vacation, she should be back already filming the last 5-6 episodes of the season, unless of course there was a Actor's Strike like there was 2 yrs ago, but that doesn't seem likely.

For those not sure what to do, here's the plan- Sunday afternoon is check in (hotel & reunion), we have a little orientation & then head out to dinner. After that its all yours. On Monday morning we will board our private bus & go to the studio tour, then the filming tour & finally go to dinner & watch the episode, once the episode is finished I intend in playing some Trivia for about an hour- then say our goodbyes & the reunion has finished, so if anyone who can find a flight out that late from Wilmington can leave or you can catch a red eye out in the morning & be home before lunch.

I hope this helps & gets people interested. I thought this would give you an idea of what we are doing so you can plan your trip.

After long consideration & seeing how the reunion may not be as successful as I wanted it to, I have changed the limit to 55 people. As of today there are ONLY 31 spots left & that is it. Enough people to fit in one bus.

I am also closing registration down for good on November 30th. There will be NO late registering. So if you are interested in going make sure you book your plans by 11:45PM EST on November 30th. You got 29 days to go to register!!

Need a Roommate?

MATCH PROGRAM IS AVAILABLE:
Have you ever missed out on a trip because your friends were too cheap or could not get off work? Well don't worry because we have a program that will match single/couple travelers. The match program helps from paying the expensive hotel rate alone.

Here are the rules:

1. Singles will be matched with the same sex.
2. Couples will be matched evenly ( 2 girls with 2 girls, or male/female with male/female)
3. Matches will be limited the Standard City view room ONLY.
4. There will be a limit of either 2 singletons or 2 couples per room.
5. We will try to match within 5 years age, if possible.
6. You will meet your roommate once you check-in to the reunion.
7. Be positive, this is going to be the trip of a lifetime.
8. Smokers will be matched together - & put into smoking rooms.
9. Roommates will ONLY be booked for the 2 main nights, January 17th & 18th, checking out Tuesday the 19th.
10. All roommates will be asked for an additional $50 REFUNDABLE deposit for any incidentals that may be charged to the room.
